Files to copy and paste
1 Copy my (Shuttle Launch 06) folder into your FS9 Addon Scenery folder
2 Open my (effects) folder here..Copy all my effects and paste them into your FS9 (Effects) folder..-overwrite or not...You may have some of my effects from before..
3 Open my (Aircraft) folder here and Copy my 3 folders- AI_RJ_GEESE AI_RJ_SHRIMP_BOAT AI_RJ_CONT_SHIP and paste them into your FS9 (Aircraft) folder
Additional addons
I (Extreemly) suggest you download and add (Freeflow Florida) for the area..there is nothing like its detailed correct Land scenery...Free!
Also get (Waterzone) and(Skysun.zip) These are the most beautiful free texture replacements from here to the mOOn,,
Now ready to go-Start FS2004 and add the scenery area (Shuttle Launch 06)-at main menu click (SETTINGS)
then (SCENERY LIBRARY)
and a box appears-then OPEN the (ADDON SCENERY) folder and find the (Shuttle Launch 06) folder and SINGLE
click it to highlight it
and at the bottom right of the box click OK-then click OK again at the bottom main menu-Now the scenery is added and
at any time you can open the (SCENERY LIBRARY) and turn it OFF or BACK ON.-(NOW YOU MUST EXIT FS2004 @ RESTART IT)
Next..Load a flight at -USA/cocoa beach/Cape Canaveral on the date of 4 july or oct 25, 2006
Read below(Timings) about how to see the shuttle take off
notes..you can go to my (Extras and Options) folder to read how to make the launches appear every day,all year long with simple overwrites if you wish...Plus add an optional tree scenery and an optional shuttle rocket fire,,
Timings..
The Shuttle initially Launches by tick timer (The moment) your flight starts..It does not wait around so When you find my added launch pad I suggest to make a save flight at it...Re-start Fs9 and load your saved flight..The Shuttle will immediatly launch by the timer..Please read this carefull if you do not see the shuttle..You will have to fly around for 12 minutes before another one will launch,,.. ThankZ
The Shuttle takes approX 12 minutes 20 seconds to loop on first launch...Then there is a quick 2 minute launch..then back to a full 12 min launch...This was something I did for testing and screenshots so you may see the shuttle make a quick launch once in a while..
If you are good at (slew mode) in fs9 you may follow the shuttle all the way up 99000 ft..then zoom view the rest..Mayby new FSX version will let one go into space
AI BOATS.ect .There are a couple of AI shrimpers and a container ship and some geese in the area..
They all take off at the beginning of every Hour..so your flight must start at say..11:01 AM (for instance) for the AI to activate and start moving...you will also need to have your (Traffic) slider bar set at least to 10% for them to appear..
Sounds..Please do not ask me about sounds..There are no programs yet to add sounds that can fade out with object
